I liked this book. My favorite part was when Biscuit sees the baby.

In the Bikini Bottoms Art Contest everybody tries to cheat except SpongeBob. The best part is when Squidward tries to cheat.

Muggy Maggie -- Sara

Muggy Maggie, by Beverly Cleary (Morrow, 1990)
Muggie Maggie is a third-grader who doesn't want to learn cursive. Her teacher has her deliver notes written in cursive all over the school. I like this book.

Henry and Mudge were camping on Big Bear Lake. It was a beautiful night. Henry didn't realize how many stars there were in the sky.

Flower Girl -- Kaysey

Flower Girl finds a limping puppy in the woods. She tells her mom, and they rescue the puppy.

Dog and Bear -- Cayson

Dog and Bear, by Laura Vaccaro Seeger (Roaring Brook, 2007)
I liked this book, especially the part where the dog helped the bear get off the chair.

Reaching for Sun -- Kari

Reaching for Sun by Tracie Vaughn Zimmer (Bloomsbury, 2007)
This book is about a girl with cerebral palsy and no friends. Then a new boy becomes her friend. I would recommend this book for ages 14-16. It is a harder book to read.

What does this look like? Dad has a mole on his nose. Mom has a frog in her throat, and is a little horse. It's a fairy tail! This is a very funny book.

Bad Dog, Marley -- Julia

My favorite part is when Marley tears up the couch.

Librarian's note: This is the same Marley that appeared in Marley and Me, also by John Grogan.

I loved this book. My favorite part was when Amber got stuck in the elevator.

Kelly wants to know Barbie's favorite outfit. Barbie can't decide, but shows Kelly her photo album. My favorite part was when Barbie got kissed by the prince.

I really liked this book. My favorite part was when Amber drank soda with a licorice straw.

Afternoon on the Amazon -- Julia

Afternoon on the Amazon, by Mary Pope Osborne. (Magic Tree House, #6. Random House, 1995)
In this story, Jack & Annie meet a monkey that throws fruit at them. The monkey saves them from jaguars. The monkey gives them the "M" items they need to save Morgan. I really liked this book.

I would recommend these books for 4th to 6th graders. They are rather easy reads and are about a group of friends formed when a new girl comes to town.

I really liked this book. My favorite part is when Bean spit on one of Mrs. Tranz's rosebushes.

I really liked this book. In the story, Annie moves next door to Henry. My favorite part is when Annie & Mudge hide under some blankets.
